The Be A Champion Program was established in 2001, and has since grown into a dynamic non-profit organization, The Be A Champion Foundation.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of community life by inspiring underprivileged youth to Be A Champion in the way they interact and interface

• with their peers and family members
• in the classroom
• throughout their communities
• and on and off the athletic field.

They are encouraged to set high expectations for themselves, and excellent examples for their fellow youth.

This mission is accomplished through several creative programs. Each program effort collaborates with individual and family, community organizations, schools, and civic-minded private business sector. The aim is to help our youth get the support and resources they need to succeed in school, and to help prepare them to face challenges and overcome obstacles they may face in the future.
